David Brown- copyright Fife Flyers/Sarah Deighan

Fife Flyers are delighted to announce the signing of netminder David Brown who will be joining the Flyers for the 2015/16 season taking over from former Flyers goalie Kevin Regan who has now retired.

30 year old 6ft Canadian Brown is no stranger to the EIHL having played for the Play-Off semi-finalists the Hull Stingrays last season.

Brown has a wealth of experience having played in both the AHL and CHL before joining the Stingrays last season in the EIHL.

You can find out more about David’s playing experience here

David had the following to say on joining the Flyers "I am very excited to be joining the Fife Flyers this season.”

“It is an absolute honor to be able to become a part of such a storied program that is so rich in hockey heritage as the Flyers.”

“I have heard nothing but great things about the organization, the city and especially the incredible support of the fan base.”

“I am looking forward to my arrival in Fife and starting the season as I expect big things from our team this year!"

Head Coach Todd Dutiaume added “All of last season Danny and myself were both intrigued by David.”

“He faced a lot of rubber on a consistent basis and helped carry a team, that really struggled with key injuries for the majority of the regular season, to a respectable finish in the league and right into the play off finals.”

“I feel that by putting together a strong and healthy squad in front of David this year we will reap the benefits. He knows the league, is driven to succeed and we have ourselves a guy who is ready to compete for us night in night out.”
