 Kyle Just

Fife Flyers, sponsored by Arnold Clark Mercedes Benz, can today confirm the signing of 28 year old Canadian forward Kyle Just for the 2019/20 Elite Ice Hockey League season.

Just played a full five seasons in the NCAA with Mercyhurst Lakers, scoring 29 goals and 73 assists in 143 games. During his 2013-14 collegiate year, Just and his teammates were crowned the Atlantic Hockey regular season championship winners, with Just being the team's 6th top point scorer that season.

Since graduating from Mercyhurst, Just has spent his entire professional ice hockey career in Europe, icing in Holland, Hungary, Germany, Italy and Finland.

In 2016 he moved to Hungary where he had 42 points (17 goals and 25 assists) to be the team's top scorer. At the end of January, Just moved to the Lausitzer Füchse in the German DEL2 where he spent the remainder of the season and then the 2017/18 season with Lausitzer and ERC Sonthofen.

Last season Just started the season in Italy with Vepitino where he scored 20 goals and 12 assists in just 27 games.

Speaking about joining Fife, Just said the following "I am very excited about coming to Fife. I have heard nothing but good things about the organisation, the fans, the town and the Elite League.

"I am happy I get to be a part of the team and organisation and hopefully we can have success this season.

"Also, my aunt and uncle actually live in Edinburgh so I am happy that I have family close by."

Head coach Todd Dutiaume added "Kyle completes our forward line-up. He's an experienced campaigner in the European game and proven he can put up numbers.

"We believe his first season in the Elite League will be a successful one."

Kyle will wear the number 73.
