Chase Schaber

Fife Flyers can confirm that Canadian forward Chase Schaber will be returning to the Kirkcaldy club for a 4th season.

The 28-year-old Canadian first joined the Flyers in 2016 from the Norfolk Admirals in the ECHL and quickly established himself as a favourite with the fans.

Last season was cut short for Schaber due to injury, but he is spending the summer months resting & rehabilitating ahead of the 2019/20 season

On re-signing for the club, Schaber said “I am very fortunate and grateful to be signing in Fife for another season.

“I can’t wait to get things underway and meet my new teammates. I’m excited for the season ahead and will work hard to help this team and organisation achieve their goals.”

“Enjoy the summer and see you all in August!”

Head coach Todd Dutiaume added “Chase has been an impact player for this hockey club. Getting him back to 100% and re-signing him was a top priority for the coaching staff.”

“I’m delighted to be working with him for another season. He’s well on the road to recovery and he’s excited to get back to work and back on the ice.”
