Fife Flyers, sponsored by Arnold Clark Mercedes-Benz, are delighted to confirm the signing of Team GB under 18 gold medallists Reece Cochrane, 17, Jordan Buesa, 18, and Caly Robertson, 17, for the 2018/19 Elite Ice Hockey League season.

Defenceman Cochrane enters his 2nd full season with the Flyers having originally signed for the 2017/18 Elite Ice Hockey League season.

Head Coach Todd Dutiaume said the following about the return of young prospect Cochrane, "Reece has the opportunity of an excellent career in front of him.

"This season we hope to help him push forward in his development. In meetings we have discussed the importance of a stable off-ice program along with helping him mature into the player he will become. This is a big year for Reece."

Caly Robertson returns to Kirkcaldy having iced with the Edinburgh Capitals last season where he scored 2 goals and 1 assist in 37 games.

Dutiaume added "Caly joins us after a season in Edinburgh and knows he has to continue to work hard on his off ice conditioning. As a young Fifer we are keen to aid him in his goal to become a full time player in the Elite League."

Making up the trio of Team GB under 18 gold medallists joining the Flyers this season is the highly rated forward Jordan Buesa. Buesa has spent the previous 2 seasons with the Braehead Clan where he played in 64 games scoring 4 assists.

Dutiaume continued "Jordan comes to us after a very strong individual season with the Clan. We were impressed with his work ethic and he skates well. He is strong, talented and driven to play in this league. This is a key signing for us up front and certainly increases our forward options."
