Fife Flyers can confirm that there has been a change to the 2018 Pre-Season Fixtures and we are delighted to welcome the University of Manitoba Bisons to our pre-season campaign.

The University of Manitoba Bisons will be heading to the UK in August when they will face off against EIHL sides Manchester Storm, Fife Flyers and Belfast Giants.

We are delighted to welcome the Bisons to Fife Ice Arena on Thursday 23rd August, 7.30pm Face Off.

A Fife Flyers spokesperson added "When the Bisons contacted ourselves and Manchester to say that some of their provisionally booked UK games had fell through, and would we be willing to step in and host some games, we discussed the options available to us, and managed to work around the Bisons schedule to slot in some fixtures.

"This is a great opportunity for our fans to see 5 international sides in our pre-season warm up, and we look forward to welcoming each of them to Fife Ice Arena.

"This is a great way to kick start the 2018/19 season, in our 80th anniversary year."

With the addition of this game in Fife, and the Bisons playing in Manchester on 21st August, the Flyers and Manchester Storm have decided to drop their respective pre-season games against each other on 22nd and 29th August.

Therefore, the new pre-season line up for the Fife Flyers will be as follows:

  • Sat 25th Aug Fife Flyers vs Aalborg Pirates
  • Sun 26th Aug Fife Flyers vs Odense Bulldogs
