JAMES ISAACS RETURNS TO FIFE FOR FIFTH CONSECUTIVE SEASON

Fife Flyers have confirmed the return of Canadian/British D-man James Isaacs for his fifth full season with the club in the Elite Ice Hockey League.

The 31-year-old from Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, joined Fife for the 2016/17 season and has been well-known as a reliable defenceman in the process.

During his time in Kirkcaldy Isaacs has appeared 210 time for Flyers and has scored 49 points during that time.

Isaacs was also part of the Flyers side that won the Gardiner Conference in 2017/18.

Before joining the Flyers Isaacs also played for fellow EIHL clubs the Dundee Stars and Coventry Blaze.

Commenting, Fife Flyers head coach Todd Dutiaume said:

“James Isaacs has been a fantastic servant for the club on and off the ice. People really appreciate his work ethic and the fact that he competes night in, night out.

“He is a very versatile player for us with the capability of playing forward and in defence.”

On his return to Fife, Jams Isaacs added:

“I am ecstatic to be coming back for fifth season. There is a lot of unfinished business and I’m excited to get playing again and to meet all the new faces.

“It was hard to sit out last season due to surgery, but I am back stronger and healthier than ever before. I am looking forward to seeing a full FIA!”
