After securing the Celtic Cup league trophy only a week ago against the Dundee Stars, Fife Flyers once again go their hands on the play-off trophy after again beating the Dundee Stars in the play-off final. The score was tied at 3-3 after 3 periods with overtime needed to help Fife secure their 2nd straight Celtic Cup play-off title. A man of the match performance from netminder Blair Daly helped the team secure the cup after a game that included 78 penalty minutes. However, as they say it's the final result that counts, and once again Flyers have come out on top.

Flyers made it 2 in a row in the Celtic Cup after claiming the league title after their 3-2 win over Dundee Stars. Flyers went in to the game knowing they could either win or lose the league depending on how the game turned out, however, they found themselves 3-0 with less than 7 minutes to go. The held on for the victory and claimed their 2nd Celtic Cup title, setting themselves up for the play-offs this coming weekend where they will play Charlestown Chiefs in the 2nd semi-final. Dundee Stars will take on Solway Sharks in the 1st semi.
