Andy SamuelFife Flyers are pleased to confirm the re-signing of popular local players forward Andy Samuel and defenceman Tommy Muir. Both players have played a crucial role for Fife over the past 6 seasons and are keen to take on the new challenge the of Elite Ice Hockey League. Tommy Muir

Both Samuel and Muir have experience of top level hockey from previous seasons with Fife, with Samuel also having played with rivals Dundee Stars. Both players played in the British National League and Crossover League which saw the BNL teams take on EIHL teams during the final season of the BNL.

Samuel will bring a wealth of experience to the team and knows what it takes at this level having began his hockey career with Fife back in the 1994-95 season and playing 218 games for Fife in the British National League registering 132 points (62 goals + 70 assists) and 128 penalty minutes. Samuel was part of the historic Grand Slam winning team during the 1999/2000 season when Fife were crowned League, Play-Off, Scottish Cup and Christmas Cup champions.

Tommy Muir started his Flyers career when he was called up to the Flyers squad during the 2001/02 season and played a handful of games with Flyers until he became a first team regular in the 2005/06 season.
