Fife Flyers are delighted to confirm the signing of import defencemen Matt Cohen, who last season played in the German top league, Die Deutsche Eishockey League (DEL) with Hamburg Freezers. Matt is a left-handed offensive d-man who is a good passer of the puck.

Matt has represented the USA national team at U18 level at the World Junior Championships and has spent his career serving in both the ECHL and the AHL having iced with Trenton Titans and Lowell Devils, before he made the move to Europe last season to play in one of Europe's top leagues in the DEL.

Matt's ECHL record stands at played 141 and registering 70 points (18 goals + 52 assists; his AHL record, played 59 and registered 7 points (2 goals + 5 assists) and having played 40 games in the DEL with 5 points (0 goals + 5 assists).

Also joining the Flyers in their first season back in the UK's top league is prolific scorer Steven Gunn. Steven has played with Fife for the past 6 seasons in which he has proven he can score goals and set up some big plays.
