Chase Schaber in ECHL action

Fife Flyers are delighted to confirm the signing of former AHL-er Chase Schaber.

The 25 year old Canadian from Red Deer, Alberta, joins the Flyers from ECHL side Norfolk Admirals.

The 5’11, 194lbs Left Wing/Centre has also played for AHL side Oklahoma City Barons, whilst on loan from ECHL side Bakersfield Condors.

Flyers Head Coach Todd Dutiaume had the following to say on the latest addition to the Flyers roster “Chase will be a great pick up for us. He comes highly recommended and his colleagues all speak highly of him as a player and person.”

“He'll give us grittiness on the left side. He skates very well and has the capability to put up good offensive numbers for us.”

“Chase unfortunately missed last season due to an unfortunate accident, but this has only made him hungrier for the season ahead and he comes in fully fit and ready go.”

Schaber added “I am very excited to be a part of the Fife Flyers for the 2016/17 season. I've heard nothing but great things about the fans and community in Fife. I am looking forward to being a part of a very competitive team coached by Todd Dutiaume and meeting some great teammates and people along the way, in hopes of bringing some silverware to Fife"
