Carlo Finucci in action for Las Vegas Wranglers

Fife Flyers are delighted to confirm the signing of Canadian/Italian Carlo Finucci.

The 29 year old, 5’9, 190lbs left winger from Burnaby, BC, Canada is an EU Passport Holder.

Finucci has played in the ECHL, Denmark and in the EPIHL. Finucci joined the Swindon Wildcats last season, from Danish side Rungsted. Averaging a point a game for both sides  with 17 goals & 18 assists for 35pts from 35 games for Rungsted in 2014/15, then 30 goals & 19 assists for 49 points from 41 games with Swindon last season.

Finucci will arrive in Kirkcaldy knowing a familiar face, having iced with Flyers defenceman Philippe Paquet during his 2014/15 season in Denmark. 

Paquet himself has welcomed the addition of Finucci and expects him to do well in the EIHL.

Fife Flyers Head Coach Todd Dutiaume had the following to say on the signing “Carlo was recommended to us and is held in high regard by his peers. He had a good season last year with Swindon and I’m confident he’ll do well in the EIHL. He’ll fit in well with what we’re looking to do in Fife this season and I’m looking forward to welcoming him to the team.”

Finucci added “I am so excited to get the season started in Fife! I have heard nothing but great things about the organization, the town and especially the fans, I can't wait to play in front of them in the Auld Barn!"

Carlo will wear the #40 for the Flyers this season.
