Fife Flyers received the following thank you from Kirkcaldy Foodbank today, which we would like to pass on to our fans and volunteers:

The Steering Group of the Kirkcaldy Foodbank have asked me to write to you to thank you for the massive donation of food for the foodbank and the people it supports.  The collection of food shows how the local community can be brought together at a time of need and we are so grateful to you and your supporters for this outstanding contribution.

As Christmas approaches we are all too well aware of how the financial stresses of the festive season can put a strain on any family in what has become a very materialistic time of year.  For many people it is hard to imagine how much added stress there is for those who struggle to put any food on the table for themselves and their families at any time of year.  

However, Christmas is also a time to give and share and any donations which we receive (however large or small) are appreciated greatly and any added touches for the festive season enable such families to try and make their Christmas a little more special than it might otherwise be.

With our grateful thanks and good wishes for the festive season.

Elite Ice Hockey League

The Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL) is a professional ice hockey league in the United Kingdom formed in 2003. The league currently consists of 12 teams, with Braehead (SCO), Belfast (NIR), Cardiff (WAL), Coventry (ENG), Dundee (SCO), Edinburgh (SCO), Fife (SCO), Guildford (ENG), Manchester (ENG), Milton Keynes (ENG), Nottingham (ENG) and Sheffield (ENG).
