Flyers take on Nottingham Panthers this weekend

Join us this Saturday for more rapid Solicitors Elite Ice Hockey League action when we take on Nottingham Panthers, face-off 7:15pm.

Flyers have back to back 1 game weekends but associate coach Danny Stewart knows this weekend will be tough!

"This weekend will be a tough test as always with the Nottingham Panthers. They have some great depth and 3 lines that can score. We will need to play smart hockey. Limiting their time on the PP and odd man situations during the game gives us the best chance at having success."

With another big crowd expected at Fife Ice Arena, Stewart has been full of praise for the home fans who have turned up in large numbers and in great voice. Flyers are yet to play a home game in front of a crowd of less than 2000 this season, and Stewart is hoping to see a similar crowd like that of last weeks game vs Braehead Clan.

"We have played well at home and our fans have played a huge part in that. The noise that they generate and the atmosphere has to be as good as anywhere. The guys thrive off it!

"It's a tough place to come play. We will be prepared to have another good performance at home and hopefully the fans come out in numbers close to last week!
