Jeff Hutchins returns to Fife

Fife Flyers are pleased to confirm that Jeff Hutchins will return to the Kirkcaldy side alongside head coach Todd Dutiaume.

Hutchins first arrived in the Elite Ice Hockey League back in 2005/6 when he was part of the Coventry Blaze side. 'Hutchy' went on to ice with 5 other teams in the EIHL, including, Belfast Giants, Sheffield Steelers, Newcastle Vipers, Edinburgh Capitals and Dundee Stars.

Jeff returns to Fife under his previous role of assistant coach and director of player development.

Speaking about his return to Fife, Jeff had the following to say "I am extremely excited to be coming back for another year.  I thought Todd and I worked well together both from a hockey and personal point of view and it made sense on both sides to do it for another year.  I think being confirmed earlier this year it will help share the workload on the recruitment side of things as well".

"I really enjoyed last season, I really got a true sense of the passion and history behind the Flyers organisation."

"I think it was an up and down season for the team, however there were a lot more positives than negatives. My ambitions remain the same, we want to win every game we can and challenge for a piece of silverware."
