RINK:

Repair work is being carried out at Rosslyn street at present. It is to early in the process to identify the changes that will be made and what will remain unchanged. The priority is too have the facility operational for the beginning of the season.

LEAGUE SET UP:

Next season will see Ice Hockey in the North of the country take a futher step towards a stronger structure able to compete with the English Premier League teams. Once this is has been achieved, the Directors would like to see the unification of British Ice hockey in the format of a British Championship with a Southern Premiership and a Northern Premiership.

Both leagues would play within their section for the first part of the season with the top teams from each then combining to play in a British League. To achieve this work has to be carried out within the present league structure management.

This year will see an improved standard in the Scottish and Northern Leagues by the increasing the number of imports to two. This factor, accompanying the sponsorship of the League will heighten the awareness of the sport throughout the country.
