Flyers Crowned SPHL Champions
Fife Flyers have been officially crowned the 1st champsions of the Scottish Premier Hockey League. Following a 4-3 OT loss to Edinburgh Capitals, Flyers can only be caught by Edinburgh, but have a better head-to-head record. Having beaten Edinburgh in the first meeting of the season 4-3, and then losing out in OT, that means Flyers have claimed more points from the fixtures than the Capitals. Despite the confussion, Fife Flyers ARE the SPHL League champions. Flyers already claimed their 3rd consecutive NIHL title last month.
