As part of the Sheffield Scimitars pre - season preparations, the club will travel to Kirkcaldy to take part in a pre-season tournament beind held at Fife Ice Arena. Fife will participate in a four team tournament to take place over the weekend 5th/ 6th September 2009. The teams taking part will be Fife Flyers, Sheffield Scimitars, Dundee Stars and Solway Sharks. The format and schedule will consist of 2 x 15 minute stop clock periods.

6pm Sheffield v Solway
7pm Fife v Sheffield
8pm Dundee v Solway

Sunday 6th September
11am Fife v Solway
12am Sheffield v Dundee
1pm 3rd v 4th place
2pm Final

This is seen as an ideal opportunity for not only the team to bond in preparation for the new season, but for all supporters new and old, team owners, etc to form bonds also.
