31/7/07 - More Signings at F.I.A
Fife Flyers are pleased to announce of the return of the defensive duo of Thomas Muir and Craig Mitchell. The pair scored 26 points between them with Muir recording the 2nd highest PIM with 99 penalty minutes. Also joining the defending the defending SNL & NPL champions is Daniel McIntyre, who joins from rivals Edinburgh Capitals where he played with both EIHL & SNL Capitals. 26/7/07 - Dutiaume Discusses 1st Signings
25/7/07 - 1 Returnee & 1 New Face
The Directors have met with Todd and we can announce that Todd has re-signed as player coach, he has also signed Chris Wands and Iain Bell. Todd is in talks with a lot of players including some new names and we can expect more signings very shortly.As far as the rink is concerned, the damage caused by the fire has taken longer to repair than first thought. Apart from the damage caused by the fire, a lot of smoke damage requires that the rink will need a complete paint job, electricians are currently rewiring the building. The Rink Directors are confident that the old barn should be ready for the start of the season, fingers crossed.
There should be an announcement shortly regarding league setup and ticket sales.
19/7/07 - Haig unsure over Flyers future
Fife Flyers should follow Dundee Stars' lead and enter a second team in the Scottish National League next season, according to the club captain of the past four years. Haig, who admitted that he has yet to decide on his own ice hockey future, backed Stars' decision to compete in both Scottish leagues next season and urged his own side to follow suit. SPORTSassists SPHL Website Launches: 
The SPORTSassist Scottish Premier Hockey League has launched it’s own >website<. After a meeting between the sponsors and the club owners last night it was agreed that the site put forward would be adopted by the SPHL. The site will have all the latest news from the league and during the season will display all statistics, results and league tables.
Rink Watertight Next Week :
Work is continuing at Fife Ice Arena to ensure it is ready for the start of the ice hockey season. In a statement obtained by The Fife Free Press, the rink directors gave an insight into the repair work currently being carried out on the fire-damaged building, home to Fife Flyers. "The building should be completely watertight by next week," it read. "Refurbishment of the electrical system will then proceed along with the necessary joinerwork. "This will involve installing a new ceiling in the lounge and reforming the seating are above and replacing two sets of stairs to that area." Full Story @ FifeToday.co.uk
