Rare Away Double-Header for Flyers

Anniversary LogoFlyers continue their festive travels this weekend with a rare away double-header. Todd Dutiaume's team check into Braehead Ice Arena on Saturday night for a SPHL match against the Paisley Pirates — led by former Fife star Bobby Haig. The trip across the Tay Bridge on Sunday to face Dundee Stars in the Northern League is Flyers' first chance to gain revenge for defeat in the Scottish Cup a fortnight ago.

Anniversary LogoFife Flyers fans have been treated to more excitement than they are used to recently and that trend should continue with this weekend's Northern Premier League matches. Fife will host a pair of games at Fife Ice Arena when Blackburn Hawks and Solway Sharks come to town. The Flyers survived a scare last week when the Sharks took them into overtime. Fife Flyers Annual Xmas Toy Appeal

Anniversary LogoThe annual Fife Flyers xmas toy appeal collection for local childrens charities will be held at the home game against Blackburn Hawks on Saturday 8 December 2007. All toys / games etc gratefully accepted - all must be new and please do not wrap them as we have to see whether they are for boys or girls and what age they are for. The players will do the usual on ice collection on the night and we will then organise for the gifts to be delivered locally. Any questions please feel free to contact us.

Flyers galvanised by new on-ice leader

KingFife Flyers coach Todd Dutiaume believes the loss of his Grand Slam winning captain in the summer has helped to galvanise his team.
