23/8/07 - Flyers Still Awaiting Fixtures

FIAWith just a fortnight to go until the start of the ice hockey season, Fife Flyers are playing a waiting game on three fronts. The Kirkcaldy club is still waiting on the confirmation of an official fixture list, the completion of repairs to Fife Ice Arena and the rules regarding the number of imports permitted to ice in the new Scottish Premier Hockey League. 16/8/07 - Flyers Sign Glasgow and Wilson

Jamie WilsonFife Flyers have raided Edinburgh — and found Glasgow. Young forward Lewis Glasgow is the latest player to leave Edinburgh Capitals in favour of a move to Fife Ice Arena following defenceman Daniel McIntyre who signed two weeks ago. Glasgow (20) has been on the fringes of the Capitals' Elite League team for the past two seasons but played more regularly for their SNL side. He is highly rated across the Forth and his move to Fife has come as a shock to Murrayfield officials. Also confirmed as returning to Flyers is talented forward Jamie Wilson. 7/8/07 - 'Captain' King Returns + 5 Key Signings

HaigFife Flyers have identified the man to take over the mantle of captain from the departed John Haig. Long-serving forward Steven King will wear the "C" shirt for the first time in his senior career. Netminder Blair Daly — another Stars target — has pledged to return to Flyers. 2/8/07 - Haig in Shock Move

HaigFife Flyers have lost their captain to their bitter rivals in the shock ice hockey transfer of the summer. This morning it has been confirmed that John Haig has decided against a return to the Kirkcaldy side and moved to Dundee Stars for the new season. Full Story @ FifeToday.co.uk
