Stewart Steps Up to Assistant Coach

Fife Flyers' head coach, Todd Dutiaume has announced changes to his coaching staff for the remainder of the season. After the departure of Matt Siddall in December, Danny Stewart has taken on the mantle of Assistant Coach.

Former Dundee Stars' coach, Dan Ceman has been made club captain, a position previously held by Stewart. Dutiaume said, 'Danny has stepped into the role after the departure of my previous assistant but has in fact been doing this in an unofficial capacity for the past few weeks. When I spoke to Danny in the summer he indicted that it something he wanted to do and it was my decision to appoint him as assistant coach.'

Denis Talks Fife Life

Fife Flyers new import Denis Kadic this week took time out to talk about life in the Rapid Solicitors Elite Ice Hockey League, and life in Fife so far. Kadic joined Fife after time in the Slovenian league with HK Maribor where he played 23 games and registered 36 points (10 goals and 26 assists). Kadic holds some impressive stats having registered 79 points in 50 games in the Slohokej during 2 spells with HK Maribor.

Flyers Fans at the Flicks

Fife Flyers Supporters Club have teamed up with the Regent Cinema in Leven to offer all Flyers Fan a chance to go and see the latest Ice Hockey film "Goon" staring Sean William Scott.

The showing will take place on Friday 3rd February at 7.30 pm. Tickets are price at £5 per head ( £1 of which goes towards a youth hockey league in Fife).
