Fife Flyers netminder Garrett Zemlak picked up yet another award from his standout season in the Rapid Solicitors Elite Ice Hockey League. Garrett was up for 2 league awards at the EIHL Play-Off weekend having been nominated for the netminder of the year and making the final 3 for the 'Fans Favourite' award, voted for by fans.
Also in the final 3 for fans favourite was Nottingham Panthers netminder Craig Kowalski and Braehead Clan forward Jade Galbraith. Despite Galbraith winning Player of the Year award, the fans favourite award went to Garrett Zemlak. Fife Flyers assistant coach Danny Stewart said that this award shows just how much the fans have taken to Garrett in his debut season.
"The fans truly loved Garrett here and him picking up this award again just goes to show how much fans have taken to him. It is great to see him pick up this recognition."
